Initially known for the song “Selling The Jelly,” cut in 1930 for the Victor label, and then later rediscovered in the late 1960s, Van Hunt, along with her daughter “Sweet” Charlene and piano player Mose Vinson, unexpectedly returns with this album of heartfelt blues recorded in 1976 and 1978 at various private homes in Memphis. All tracks were digitally remastered from the original tapes in 2013. Editorial assistance by Corey Wetherington, Penn State University.
